Safety of our Patients
For the safety of our patients and staff, we closely follow the guidelines and recommendations from the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), as well as those of state and local government.
Patient Precautions
To help prevent the spread and transmission of COVID-19, all patients are required to wear a mask for their appointments.
Patients may have temperatures taken upon arrival to appointment and are required to answer COVID screening questions both when appointment is confirmed and upon arrival at our office.
Staff Procedures
Our staff is committed to preventing the transmission and spread of the COVID-19 virus. In addition to our already strict hygiene methods, we have adopted further protocols to protect patients including wearing additional personal protection equipment (PPE) practicing social distancing. Operatories are sanitized after each patient.
PPE
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is one of the easiest and most effective ways to prevent the transmission and spread of the COVID-19 virus. For the safety of our patients and employees, our staff wears all recommended forms of PPE. This includes face masks, eye protection, gowns, and gloves.
Safe Air Plan
We’ve implemented a Safe Air Plan for our practice to provide peace of mind for employees, clients, and visitors by adding 11 peak Airbox units equipped with Certified HEPA, antimicrobial, and carbon filters; this is meant to meet CDC and OSHA recommendations for building ventilation and exceeds national standards.
